I work at Chef.io as a Solutions Architect, helping our customers adopt devops culture and tooling. Prior to Chef, I worked at Microsoft as a Technical Evangelist. I speak at conferences on topics such as social media for technologists, collaboration/workflow systems, CRM and bridging the IT/DEV gap with devops culture and systems thinking.
Prior to joining Microsoft, I founded ÜbergeekGirl, managing the IT systems of successful individuals and businesses in the entertainment and media industries in and around Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
I know a few things about the cloud, SaaS strategy, consulting and implementation. I have experience with vendor management, hosted exchange, exchange migrations, Office 365, mobile device management (MDM), bring your own DISASTER (BYOD), Mac/PC, SMB network deployment, virtualization, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. CRM and collaboration systems; both open source and commercial/enterprise platforms.
